Get out of the grind.
Tooth grinding (Bruxism in doctor talk) is common in kids. Roughly half of all babies grind their teeth. Some grind sporadically, others grind all night. Most children will grow out of this habit by the time their adult teeth come in. Those that do grind daily may experience some wear but rarely does it result in needing treatment. If your child is still grinding into teen/adulthood we may recommend a mouthguard at night.
Bring it up at your next dental appointment so your child's teeth can be monitored for wear and tear.
