Silver Diamine Fluoride

There’s no silver bullet, but there is Silver Diamine Fluoride.

There’s plenty of good ways to reduce the risks of decay, brushing, flossing, healthy eating habits. Now there’s another option, Silver Diamine Fluoride, or SDF. Silver Diamine Fluoride is an anti-microbial liquid that we use to treat decay and cavities in a fast, non-invasive manner.

It’s a low-stress, pain-free option. Although some kids may still scream because of their expectations, there’s nothing to be concerned about. SDF is simply brushed on the teeth to stop current decay while helping to reduce risks of decay in the future.
