In children's dentistry, we like to keep things simple. There are a few different procedures that we think you should be familiar with that give you a general understanding of operations and expectations around here.

If you’re unsure of how to prepare your child for their first dental visit, simply say, “We’ll have to ask your Dr. today when we get to your appointment at Sprout Dental,” and stay away from scary words. Around here we don’t use words like “drill,” “needle,” “hurt,” or “pain” of course. And we encourage you not to use those words as well. The team at Sprout Dental strives to communicate in ways that put both parents and patients at ease. Whenever you have questions, just ask. Same goes for your little one.
