Xrays

X marks the spot.

And X-rays, or radiographs as we call them, are an essential part of understanding your child’s dental health. They let us see the big picture when it comes to your little ones’ mouths including erupting teeth, jaw or bone injuries, and potential orthodontic needs. And when we take them early, we’re able to treat things before they become problems and reduce the discomfort for your child.

Most patients should have xrays annually. Those who are higher risk for decay should have them every 6 months. We know you’re probably concerned about radiation and your child. We are, too. That’s why we use the most advanced technology that keeps the amount of radiation as low and localized as reasonably possible.
