Open Door Policy

During pediatric dental operative procedures, Sprout Dental maintains an “open door” policy. What this means is that the door to your child’s treatment room is always available to you. However, we will ask that you remain in the waiting area during their procedure. Dr. Kady and her excellent team are trained to help children overcome anxiety. You will be amazed at how well your child will do without your presence!

Please try not to be concerned if your child exhibits some negative behavior. Our job is to help them get through their dental procedures as safely and pleasantly as possible. Careful and loving coaching will help your child have a positive dental experience. Studies and experience have shown that most children over the age of 3 react more positively when permitted to experience the dental visit on their own. We have a child friendly office and most children look forward to coming to see us. You are welcome to visit from the waiting room to check in on our progress but we ask that you are a silent observer. Parents are asked to assist with some procedures on a case-by-case basis depending on each child’s individual needs.
